- If you are looking at expanding, or starting up, now is the time! Look for space in your area, and gather information on loans or grants.
- When starting childcare, know why you want to do it. That is step 1, and step 2 is sharing that as you go through the license process and market to families.
- Figure out what kind of center you want, and then take the time to learn what the options are for you and the requirements for licensing.
- Make sure to know your competition in your community.
- Get creative with your services to stand out in your area.
