Early childhood education has made many great strides in the last several years. From educational frameworks to funding and regulations, North America is becoming increasingly aware of the importance of early child care and establishing what its standards should be.
Despite these milestones, as an industry, the child care sector is lacking clear benchmarks. That’s where you come in.
HiMama and Child Care Marketing Solutions are now accepting responses for the 4th annual North American Child Care Sector Benchmark Survey!
What is the Child Care Benchmark Survey?
Each year, we survey hundreds of child care center owners and directors to learn more about their businesses. From finances and operations to outlooks and priorities, we ask a comprehensive set of questions about the most important parts of being an early childhood education provider.
Why Should I Participate?
The Benchmark Survey is the only large survey of its kind designed to establish benchmarks for the child care industry. The more responses we collect, the higher the accuracy will be for establishing what the standards are for running an early education center.
If you own or direct a child care center, it is important that your experiences be reflected in the survey results. Plus, by participating in the survey, you will have exclusive first access to the results the moment they are published.
What’s New for 2019?
This year, for the first time HiMama is partnering with another leader in early childhood education to produce the Benchmark Survey: Child Care Marketing Solutions.
Child Care Marketing Solutions helps child care centers improve their business and marketing operations. The organization is founded by Kris Murray, a thought leader in the early education space. In addition to consulting, Kris also runs one of the largest industry conferences — the Child Care Success Summit — and hosts the Child Care Rockstar Radio podcast.
This year, Kris is working alongside the HiMama team to make the 4th installment of the Benchmark Survey the best one yet. This year’s questions are more streamlined to be easier to answer and asks for more information on important topics like hiring, retention, finances and organizational priorities.
How to Take the Survey
Participating in this year’s survey will take approximately 10 minutes of your time. To make answering easier, have information like finances, enrollment and other operational records on-hand in case you need to look anything up.
All responses are 100% anonymous, and your name and business information will not be listed in the final report. Be sure to answer all the questions and make it to the end so you can be emailed your copy once it’s published!
